One year on – Doomsday looms for Marie Stopes clinic

Last Saturday, we travelled to Belfast to engage in an Evangelical Christian witness/protest against the iniquitous, amoral abortion clinic Marie Stopes, as they were “celebrating” their first year in “business.”

There were three of us only but we did not lose heart because we remember the words of the Lord Jesus Christ who said, “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”  (Matthew  ch.18 v.20)

The pro-life group Precious Life had their own protest outside the Marie Stopes clinic on the same day. They stood outside said establishment and had to endure a counter-protest from the wretched pro-aborts of Belfast Feminist Network (and other rent-a-mob types.)

We commend Precious Life for their tireless campaign to close the Stopes abortuary.

Our Evangelical Christian witness was, of necessity, separate and distinct from the Precious Life rally because we are Bible-believing Christians, and not Roman Catholics. So we positioned ourselves across the road from Stopes and displayed our Bible placards.

During our protest, we were harassed by three male feminists from the counter protest who crossed the road and stood near us with the sole purpose of hindering our witness. We gave them short shrift. They are, after all, nothing other than Feminism’s “useful idiots.”

  1. How exactly does ‘doomsday loom” for this clinic when your ineffectual protests don’t accomplish anything? How exactly does a foetus have the neuro physiology for self conscious awareness? Why have you stopped posting or trying to respond to my posts?

    • Ah, the precious lifeys live another day to make complete and utter pests of themselves on the streets of belfast with their pointless protests. meanwhile stope continues its great work giving women the information and assistance they are entitled to as members of society. stopes is here to stay hooray!

      • If you read our post carefully, you would know that we are not associated with Precious Life. We had our own separate witness against the Stopes clinic. We do, however, share Precious Life’s pro-life views. By the way, the pro-aborts of Belfast Feminist Network and Co., were greatly outnumbered by Precious Life, we are happy to report.

        • Again, you know the one. The one where Ms White claims to have ‘suffered’ two miscarriages and the death of her brother. No wonder you wont publish my comments….

          • What you referred to as a post was actually a comment, in which we mentioned that we experienced the pain of loss i.e two miscarriages and the death of a 23 year old brother in a car accident. What we have written is true. However, some of the other matters you mentioned in your comment about our sad losses are figments of your own imagination.

I did not harrass you. I stood silently, countering your protest. I did not engage with you. It’s not very christian to lie……

    • The men who came across the road to stand near us had no business coming any where near our witness/protest. The very act of crossing the road to stand near us was an act of harassment in itself. One of the three men did “engage” with us by shouting out the words “pro-choice” and by waving a pro-choice placard near our Bible placard. Our Bible signs had verses on them which clearly showed God’s hatred for those who shed innocent blood.
