The Mormon god and his wife!

The LDS (Mormon) church believe in a “God” who was once a man, but through their concept of eternal progression, he attained godhood. They also believe that their God has a wife.

Mormonism is unique among so-called “Christian” sects in believing in both a Heavenly Father and a Heavenly Mother. However, they do not pray to her, and they keep her “under wraps” when seeking converts, because it would be a potential Convert-loser if the Mormon missionaries mentioned their “Heavenly Mother,” a concept totally foreign to Biblical Christianity.

Click on the following link to read an article from November, 2012, in an LDS magazine called “Meridian.” The article is entitled, ” The other Half of Heaven: Debunking Myths about Heavenly Mother.”

Then watch a short video on the same subject entitled, “Do Mormons believe that God has a wife?”

Here is further evidence that Mormonism is not, and never has been, and never will be, Christian!

  1. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (LDS/Mormon,etc.) believes in God, the Eternal Father, and in His Son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost ( LDS Scriptures: Article of Faith 1). People who follow Christ are known as Christians. Therefore, Mormons or LDS people are Christian, right? I think you got confused about the definition of a Christian. No worries, everyone makes mistakes, and I forgive you. 🙂

    • No doubt the Whites have approved this comment to appear on their site while they spend time trying to come up with a response. They think their brand of ‘christianity’ is the one and only brand that matters. Approved by them….but not by God Himself.
Their articles here are becoming more and more ridiculous by the day.

    • The LDS Church uses Christian terminology, but with vastly different meanings. The Mormon “god” is an exalted man with a body of flesh and bones. He is married and has a wife (or wives.) The Mormon Jesus is the spirit brother of Satan and, according to Mormon doctrine, was married. In 1963, Joseph Fielding Smith wrote (in answer to an inquirer who wanted to know if it was correct to assume that Jesus was married), “Yes! But do not preach it!” See

Mormonism makes a distinction between the Holy Ghost (they believe He is a Personage of Spirit) and the Holy Spirit (an essence or force, according to them.) Here is a quote from a book by a Mormon theologian, the late Bruce McConkie (book title, Mormon Doctrine,) “The Holy Ghost is the third member of the Godhead. He is a Personage of Spirit, a Spirit Person, a Spirit Entity. He can be in only one place at one time…..”

The LDS Church is NOT Christian. None of the above doctrines are taught in the Bible. Mormonism has another Gospel and another Jesus.

  2. I went to school with 3 Mormon children and they were most certainly Christians. I much prefer their Christianity to the judgemental, finger-pointing type of the Evangelical Whites.
