Earlier this year,Dublin City Council granted planning permission for the construction of a mega-Mosque in Clongriffin, Dublin.
An appeal was lodged by a Labour Party politician. However, despite the objection, the Planning Board (or An Bord Pleanola, as it is known,) have followed Dublin City Council and granted planning permission.
In light of their decision, the authorities in Dublin should carefully and soberly reflect on the following quote about mosques, from the website of Law and Freedom,
“A mosque is not merely a place of worship. Islamic doctrine requires the application of Islamic law within its geographical reach.”
