Is age or infirmity the explanation for the conspicuous absence of Ian and Eileen Paisley from vote on homosexual marriage?

Lord Bannside (Ian Paisley) and his wife Eileen (Baroness Paisley,) were absent from the crucially important vote on homosexual marriage last week in the House of Lords.

We would like to know the reason for their absence.

  1. Many years ago when Captain O’Neill was in the House of Lords the ex moderator said ” that the House of Lords was only for redundant and geriatric politicians”
Which category does he fall into

  2. I also am concerning given his campaign ‘to save Ulster from Sodomy’ in the eighties,
have they mellowed in their old age because this was a defining moment in our history.
Sad that effort was not made if it were possible. Will we ever get an answer also ?

  3. The old man is not well. We live near them. Get off his back you evil, wicked, ignorant self-serving old cow Susan. We shall make sure this disgusting article gets publicised in due time…you inconsiderate, interfering b…..

    • Mr.Paisley would have had you run out of town if his “Save Ulster from Sodomy” campaign had been successful. Now, you seem favourably disposed towards him, so has he changed and become more tolerant?
