United Nations – its Mission – to categorise denial of abortion “rights” as “torture”!

The left-wing revolutionaries at the UN are now categorising denial of abortion “rights” as “torture”!
Here is a quote from a Report of the Special Rapporteur on torture and other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment, Juan E. Mendez,

“The Committee against Torture has repeatedly expressed concerns about restrictions or access to abortion and absolute bans on abortion as violating the prohibition of torture and ill-treatment.”

It is obvious that the UN is a radical, dangerous, and amoral organisation, intent on the complete overthrow of Biblical morality.

Feminism all but destroys the US Forest Service

Click on the following link to hear a radio interview with Christopher Burchfield, the author of a book entitled, “The Tinder Box: How Politically Correct Ideology Destroyed the US Forest Service.”

The book was published in 2012.

The author was interviewed by Nancy Wiegman  on “Nancy’s Bookshelf,” on Northstate Public Radio in the USA. The programme was recorded on 25.5.12 and aired on 8.6.12.

We have not read Mr.Burchfield’s book but have read enough about it to consider purchasing it. The radio interview is worth listening to, and, knowing the destructive effect PC and Feminism have had on society, we have no difficulty in believing the cold, hard facts outlined by the author during the programme.

We wish to make it clear that we are only recommending this interview to our readers, we cannot vouch for anything else associated with the radio station.

A puzzling question – where is Dungannon?

A commenter who has expressed an interest in meeting us and whose home is in Northern Ireland, has asked the following question (via e-mail,) when we suggested the town of Dungannon as a possible location for said meeting,

“Dear Mr.&Mrs.White,  Where is Dungannon?

We have to believe that the question is genuine and that the individual concerned does not know where Dungannon is, but we have to say that our reaction to the question was marked by incredulity!

How would our Northern Ireland readers react to, and respond to the question, “Where is Dungannon.”

100,000 signatories – their goal? – the enforced acceptance of transsexuality as “normal!”

Nathan Upton, a 32 year old teacher who believed he was transsexual and was “transitioning” from male to female, was found dead at a house in Accrington, Lancashire, last Tuesday, 19th March, having apparently taken his own life.

He had informed school authorities last Christmas that he planned to return to the school as a woman, after the Christmas break, and that he was to be known as Lucy Meadows. The pupils were told that Mr.Upton (who has two children,) should be addressed as Miss Meadows upon their return to school.

The Daily Mail columnist, Richard Littlejohn, covered this story in his column around the time the story broke (three months ago,)and, because he raised concerns about the effect the teacher’s “transitioning” could have on his pupils, and because the individual concerned apparently committed suicide, Mr.Littlejohn is now under fierce attack by the transgender lobby who are making outrageous claims such as, “Hounded to suicide by Richard Littlejohn.”

There is a petition now, which has attracted thousands of signatures, and which is demanding that the Daily Mail fire Richard Littlejohn.

We do not know if Mr.Upton (we will not refer to the tragic individual as Miss Meadows,)  was the subject of unwanted press attention or not, but a column in a newspaper three months before this sad death, which raised legitimate concerns about the effect a “sex-change” teacher could have on children, is in no way responsible for the suicide of this teacher.

It is not normal for children to see their male teacher return to school dressed in women’s clothes, but to say so publicly is to invite protests and fierce opposition. Transsexuals need our compassion and help but they do not need to be encouraged to undergo mutilating surgery, nor should they have the “right” to confuse and frighten children by cross-dressing as they “transition” from male to female or vice-versa.  If they insist on “transitioning,” let them do so in their own homes, and spare children the trauma of seeing that which is abnormal presented to them as harmless, and requiring of them a mental adjustment children cannot make (and should not make.)

Title change of one of our recent posts

We wish to inform our readers that we have changed the title of one of our posts (we have not changed the content of our post in any way.)

We have changed the title because a commenter has misunderstood our post (perhaps because our title was somewhat confusing, or perhaps because he sees some advantage in giving our title/post the opposite meaning to that which we sought to communicate.)

The post we are referring to was written on 15th January this year and was entitled. “No risk to mothers’ health in 99.5% of abortions in England and Wales….”

The point we were making is that the majority of abortions are carried out for social reasons and not because there is any risk (psychological or physical,) to the health of the women seeking abortion.

Our  new title reads as follows,

“Suicidal pregnant women?!!  99.5% of abortions in England and Wales (between 1968-2011) were carried out for social reasons!”

Women killed by legal abortion (in USA) and a tragic case of suicide after abortion (in UK)

Recently, in the Republic of Ireland, a seminar was held, entitled, “Abortion – The Lives and Health of Women.” It was organised by two radical pro-abortion outfits, the National Women’s Council of Ireland and Doctors for Choice.

Here is a quote from one of the doctors who addressed the seminar, Dr. Peadar O’ Grady.

“It has also been observed that suicide in pregnancy (and the year after delivery known as the “puerperium) has become much less common with access to legal abortion services. ………..It is therefore clear from the WHO (World Health Organisation) and peer-reviewed research that restricting access to abortion, that is, denying women “the right to choose” raises the risk of suicide in pregnancy.”  ( end of quote)

In February,2007, a young woman named Emma Beck committed suicide BECAUSE she had an abortion!

Emma was unmarried and she was eight weeks pregnant with twins, and her boyfriend did not want the babies. The Coroner at Emma’s Inquest, Dr.Emma Carlyon, recorded a verdict of suicide.

She said, “It is clear that a termination can have a profound effect on a woman’s life.”

Emma’s GP (family doctor,) Katie Gibbs, said (of Emma,) “She was extremely distressed by the abortion procedure, and I don’t think she ever came to terms with it.”

Now, let Emma speak for herself, through the words written in her suicide note,

“I told everyone I didn’t want to do it, even at the hospital. I was frightened, now it is too late. I died when my babies died. I want to be with my babies: they need me, no-one else does.” “I should never have had an abortion. I see now I would have been a good mother.”

This tragic young woman’s story (she was pronounced dead on her 31st birthday,) is profoundly sad and deeply affecting and it clearly shows the devastating effect of abortion, and that there is nothing “safe” about it (despite the oft-repeated mantra “safe, legal abortion is every women’s right.”) In Emma’s case, she killed herself because she had an abortion, she did not commit suicide because she was denied an abortion, yet those medics and feminists at the above-mentioned seminar give the deliberate impression that the risk of suicide is raised if and when access to abortion is restricted. Emma Beck would probably still be alive if abortion had not been presented to her as an “option” for her to make an “informed choice” about.

The abortion procedure itself has also proved fatal for many women. Click on the following link to read the names of women killed by legal abortion (in the USA.)
