Christian Pastor kidnapped in Mexico in 2011 – any hope he is still alive?

On April 10th, 2011, at the El Shaddai Christian Center in the Mexican city of Lazaro Cardenas, Michoacan, some 500 worshippers were present for the morning service.

At about 8.15 am, four masked men burst in firing machine guns into the air. They kidnapped the Pastor, Josue Ramirez Santiago.
The next day, the Pastor’s family received a ransom demand for 20 million pesos (US 1.7 million dollars in 2011.)
Mexico is so lawless and dangerous that paying the ransom money is no guarantee that the kidnap victim will be returned safe and well.

We cannot find any recent information about the outcome for the Pastor of this terrible deed, carried out by heavily armed, ruthless men, but unspeakable atrocities have been committed frequently by those lovers of money and power  i.e  the drug barons/cartels.

We hope he is safe and well today, and back with his family, and that is possible, because nothing is too hard for the Lord, and miracles can and do happen.

However, it is also sadly possible that the Pastor has been martyred for Christ.
