We are sad to report the result of last night’s vote at Dungannon District Council, because a Unionist councillor’s walkout before the crucial vote led to a tied vote, with 10 for “gay” marriage and 10 against. Sinn Fein had the casting vote so it ended with 11 for and 10 against.
This councillor certainly needs to explain his neglect of duty, but one thing he cannot do is justify it. Evil really does prevail when good men do nothing and this man did nothing to stop the onward march of the “pink” army.
We commend those councillors who did vote against Sinn Fein’s wretched proposal and they are,
DUP all 6 voted against
Ulster Unionists 3 voted against
SDLP 1 voted against
No doubt the pro-gay Sinn Fein will now target yet another Council. Their strategy is to desensitise society to all things “gay” by talking about “gays” and “gayness” as often and as loudly as possible.
